  1. How did animal and plant domestication lead to the unequal accumulation of possessions and the development of social classes?
  2. What were the significant legal and governmental contributions from ancient Greece to our world today?
  3. Describe the Roman Empire’s legal legacy?  How has that impacted our world today?
  4. What is the different between a primary and secondary source?  Which sources are more biased, and what must the skilled historian do to understand the truth?
  5. Dr. Diamond suggested that the natural resources of Papua New Guinea put its native people at a “chronic disadvantage.”  What were those resources, and how were they a disadvantage to the native people of Papua New Guinea?
